Well Jason finally got round to asking the lovley Julie for her hand in marrage, well time for a party as well.
Just a few pics for the family as they love to see it……
Lomani resort is located on the Malolo Lailai island of the fiji island group, also know as (Plantation Island). Lomani is Fijian for love. This is one of the most pristine places to stay with private rooms, no kids and fantastic staff, also right near the kite spots and if the wind is right kite right to the door.

Location and Climate
Fiji’s climate is tropical. Temperatures vary slightly between the summer and winter months with summer beginning early December and lasting through to March. The weather is quite hot and humid during the summer months with temperatures around 32°C. This time is usually referred to as the ‘wet season’, however it should be noted that Malolo Island is located to the west of the larger Fiji Islands and on average receives less rainfall and can be drier than the eastern parts of the Fiji Islands at this time.
By the end of April, Fiji experiences a more moderate climate with temperatures sitting around 27°C by day and pleasantly cooler during the night at around 19°C.
Heading here on the 26th- 2nd of Aug 2008.

Snow on the beach, Time to go surfing, Julian, Andy and Jason out for a bash, well why not. 10 degree water but below zero outside makes the water warmer in your mind.
Jason here taking life into his own hands….nice right !
Julian hooking into a Pier right, note the snow on the foreground beach in this pic.
Jason feeling the warm sand under feet on route to the bath, great surf but quick….

We were in the city this morning and spotted the first flakes of snow. By the time we’d started to come home the snow had settled all over the houses/roads all the way back home. So we chucked on our snowboarding gear and went for a walk along the beach IN THE SNOW!!!

New Brighton has a great surf culture.
Walking distance to the pier and all the shops, we will have more pictures soon, especially now winter is heading our way.
